We love our birds... is that weird?
It's Valentine's Day... we want to show our birds how much we love them!
We found a recipe for hanging bird treats and put a spin on it for what we had available.
Seedcake Recipe: eggshells, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, wheat bran, scratch grains, high protein feed, eggs, flour, and coconut oil. Mixed together and baked at 325° F for 30 minutes.
Liver Treats for our cats: chicken livers (ground up), flour, eggs. Mixed together and baked at 350° for 15 minutes.
It took awhile for the birds to go for it... but after a day, all of the treats were gone! Happy Valentine's Day, birds!
