Naturally dyeing our COLORFUL egg basket
We naturally died our Easter eggs... these are the ingredients we used:
SPINACH - FOR GREEN-YELLOW
· Diced spinach
· Add turmeric (optional) for better change in color (use less than 1 tablespoon)
· 2 Tablespoons - Vinegar
· 1 Teaspoon - Salt
· Add water
· Add eggs
Boil everything together for 10 minutes and move to a container to let it set for 18-24 hours
TURMERIC - FOR YELLOW
· 2 Tablespoons - Ground turmeric
· 2 Tablespoons - Vinegar
· 1 Teaspoon - Salt
· Add water
· Add eggs
Boil everything together for 10 minutes and move to a container to let it set for 18-24 hours
PAPRIKA - FOR ORANGE
· 2 Tablespoons - Ground paprika
· 2 Tablespoons - Vinegar
· 1 Teaspoon - Salt
· Add water
· Add eggs

BEETS - FOR RED
· Diced beets
· 2 Tablespoons - Vinegar
· 1 Teaspoons - Salt
· Add water
· Add eggs

BLACKBERRIES - FOR DARK RED
· 1 Cup - Blackberries
· 2 Tablespoons - Vinegar
· 1 Teaspoons - Salt
· Add water
· Add eggs

RED CABBAGE - FOR BLUE
· Diced cabbage
· 2 Tablespoons - Vinegar
· 1 Teaspoon - Salt
· Add water
